The Value Education Program at BRBPS stimulates reflection and introspection about issues that have moral and ethical relevance. The program encourages students to thoughtfully choose and adhere to a set of values that is appropriate to and best reflects the challenges of their time, rather than preaching values and imposing them on them. The sessions and activities are designed to promote independent moral reasoning and support discussions about moral dilemmas and crisis, from which students can develop an enduring and meaningful set of values. The program deals with a wide variety of themes of social significance through creative approaches and activities.

Unraveling Pride & Prejudice

The Gender Sensitivity program at BRBPS encourages students to examine the systematic discrimination, oppression and prejudice that operate through social norms and practices, creating not just inequality but injustice in their trail. A wide range of activities, games and logical exercises make the program interesting and engaging for our students. The program works towards sensitizing our students about social gender-based differences and enables them to empower themselves and those around them with awareness and action.

A Way of Life!

The Life Skills program at BRBPS consciously equips our students with the skills they need to get through life’s ups and downs with equal ease. The program has adopted three skills as its core focus- Thinking Skills, Social Skills and Emotional Skills.

Using a wide variety of methods that range from discussions to film screenings and interactive games, the program imparts these skills through an experiential approach that brings in real-world dilemmas into the classroom, giving our students the extra edge they need to face adversity and fortune with equal grace. Learning to live has never been more fun!

We rise by lifting others!

Community service has been an integral part of the school since its inception and has been one of the foundational principles of the school. The community service initiatives in the school are led by the BRBPS Community & Outreach Club, the Interact Club, the Community-Activity-Service program and the students themselves as part of taking action in their inquiry cycles. Community Outreach and Service activities are an integral part of most of our learning experiences and engagements. The outreach involves leading awareness campaigns, visits to old age homes, orphanages, deaf & mute centers, eco-sustainability drives etc. Our students learn early on, the importance of developing the spirit of giving back to society and reaching out to those less privileged and that are marginalized. Community Outreach activities and projects develop leadership, resilience, empathy and service-mindedness is our students. To this end, our school regularly associates with NGOs, charities, social workers and causes, to provide our students bigger platforms to make a real difference.
